Dollhouse Cancelled
When FOX renewed Joss Whedon's new Whedonverse, Dollhouse, for Season 2, the world was pretty surprised. With low ratings of 3.7 million viewers average, it was a pale comparison to their other new TV show, Lie to Me.
Season 1 focused mainly on what was wrong with stealing people's free will, while Season 2 focuses mainly on the aspect that you can never completely wipe someone's mind. A little bit of you will always be there; that is the gift of humanity. This is shown time and time again when Echo glitches and has flash backs of her other personalities.
Season 2 has averaged 2.5 million viewers. They took an 8 week hiatus to film the rest of the episodes and while in production of the 11th episode, Fox cancelled Dollhouse. It was November 11, 2009. The only good thing about this is that they will still air the original 13 orderd episodes.
The Season 2 Finale, Episode 13, "Epitaph Two: Return" will air January 22, 2010.
